Planning for our Babymoon!

I'm 21 weeks now. Not to much is going on with the baby besides growing. She is about 11 inches and just shy of a full pound.   I think she might be taking after her mother because it feels like all she does is dance around in there like a little ballerina.  The other day we got a delivery of cookies that my dad bought me to support a school fundraiser. Keny said " well instead of football I guess i get to look forward to selling girl scout cookies and going to ballet recitals.."   Poor Keny but I think a little girl is just what he needs.  He has already started to change so much to prepare himself for his little girl. I think he is going to be a great father.

Here is an update of how everything else is going so far

Maternity clothes? Yep defiantly wearing the pants.. I'm starting to grow out of all my shirts,  I only have a handful left that I can wear that cover up my little baby bump
Stretch marks? Nope.
Best moment this week: Crib came in the mail. ! YAY  Most important piece to add to the new nursery. Hopefully this weekend I can start to paint
Miss Anything? I wish I would of eaten alot more feta cheese before I got pregnant because I could really go for Feta cheese on everything I eat these days. Can't have Feta cheese when your prego along with a big list of other things.
Movement: She is SO active! Constantly moving. She doesn't wake up until about 8am on my drive into work. I'm sure she wakes up in the middle of the night but its not waking me up yet. She likes to stay up late too..
Food cravings: umm none this week! No cravings at all so far.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Chicken. Smell doesn't bother me but if I taste it I want to get sick. Otherwise I don't feel like my noses is super sensitive
Have you started to show yet: Yep! People at work are still just finding out though..
Gender: GIRL!
Belly Button in or out? Out!
Wedding rings on or off? On. Hands aren't swollen at all so hopefully I'll be able to wear my ring until the baby comes but I hear that never happens.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, Happy! well most of the time. I notice that stuff gets on my nerves a little more than usual.
Looking forward to: our babymoon! and starting the transformation of the nursery.

Next week we go on our babymoon to Grand Tetons.. We are sooo excited.   Whats a babymoon you say?  Its our last little honeymoon before the baby comes.   We are staying for 4 days at the Teton Springs Spa!. I'm totally going to get pampered but Keny doesn't really know that yet. Lol. There isn't a whole lot that I can do in the mountains but we are still going to have a blast.  We are staying right on the lake and hopefully one night we will do a dinner cruise. We are going right during peak time as the leaves are changing for the fall. We will take pics of course and post them for you to see..

That's all that is going on with us.  I probably won't post anything until we return from our trip on Monday  9/24.  Hopefully I'll have some before and after pictures of the nursery to show you soon as well.   Oh yes and for everyone that keeps asking. We do have some names picked out but they are a secret!.. Surprisingly Keny and I aren't having a hard time picking out a girl names that we both like so we have a small list going.   No one will know until the day we get to meet our little bundle of joy! Sorry...

Its a GIRL

Our gender party started with this box in our yard....

After once we opened it pink balloons popped out. What a surprise!! A Little Girl.
We couldn't be happier.

Keny's little buddy Jacob was so excited.
He can't wait to show her how to ride his bike he said. So cute!
It was so nice to get my family together with Keny's family for this special day. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

This is one of our last ultrasound pictures from Friday at our 20 week ultrasound.  The little profile is so cute. Everything said that this picture was a dead give away that it was a girl.   Still can't tell who she looks like more.  Hopefully these next few months go by fast because we can't wait to meet her.

I'm officially 20 weeks/ 5 months. Half way!.. Just 5 months to go. This week SHE  is the size of a banana and 10.5 ounces.  My belly has grown alot in the past month especially in just the last week it has really popped out.

Big thanks to Hilary and Jason who made up our box and kept our little secret until today. We really appreciate everything you did.  Thank you!

HALF WAY.... already...... !

Can anyone believe that I'm at the half way mark. 5 months!.. WOW.. Yes many of you are thinking wait a minute, women are only pregnant for 9 months..
No your wrong.. Its actually 40 weeks which divided into months is 10 months.
Last night Keny finally was able to feel our little one doing aerobics. YAY for him, he was very excited.  The weirdest part is being able to see my belly move with each strong kick and punch.

Only 4 more days until we reveal the gender of our little Cantaloupe.
Our big Gender Reveal is on Sunday so stay tuned.. You have a 50% chance of being correct with all your guesses

Here are the Votes so far
8 BOY vs 13 GIRL

And for all of you looking for my belly shots.. Here are a couple to take a peak at.  Here is month 1, 2.5, 3 & month 4

Month 5 picture is on its way and will be posted with our pictures from our gender party on Sunday.

This weekend we are moving out our office from out upstairs bedroom to make room for our nursery. I'm so excited to start painting, as most of you know its my favorite hobby.  I already have the colors picked out and its going to be pretty gender neutral so you won't be seeing any bright pinks or baby blues..  I'll try and take before and after shots for everyone to see the transformation in the coming weeks.

Remember to stay tuned to our blog on Sunday late afternoon if you want to be one of the first to find out if its a girl or boy. I'll post the results right away.
